If you are interested in becoming a counselor, applications will be available for 2013 sessions in January.  Applications for 2012 will no longer be accepted, as the deadline has passed.  Interviews will take place at USU on April 14th.  The mandatory training for all counselors will be held May 12th at USU. 

 

If you are a college-aged, single sister interested in being a counselor, you can download the application and guidelines below by clicking the links below (links no longer active) .  Please read through the requirements listed in the application guidelines and make sure everything is complete before being sent.

Qualifications for being an RFG Counselor:

1- Must be at least 18 years old, graduated from high school, and single.  (One year of college or post high school work experience preferred)

2- Must be able to commit to work both sessions

3- Must be able to attend a mandatory training session (May 12th)

4- Turn in an application and letter of recommendation (recommendation letter should focus on your qualifications for being a successful counselor)

5- Be available for an in-person interview prior to being hired (April 14th)

6- Be completely available during the two weeks or RFG (you cannot be attending summer semester at school or working at another job)

7- Have a love and enthusiasm for working with the youth of the church

8- Be willing to keep deadlines and fulfill all assignments

9- Be committed to living and sharing the standards and doctrines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
