Your week will begin by checking in Monday, July 17th at Utah State University. We will then be gathering daily at the new Cache Valley Event Center located on the Cache County Fairgrounds. We plan to remain at this same location for most of the week. This location provides great indoor and outdoor spaces for our various activities. We are exploring a few other activity options and will update once those have been confirmed.
Expect the usual variety of RFG favorites – including outstanding speakers, delicious food (lunch and dinner), crafts, the annual counselor fashion show, a service project, counselor classes, and more of what participants have always experienced.
We had a great experience at this venue last year and believe that all those who are returning or those who will be joining us for the first time will appreciate again what this experience has to offer. Those choosing the Stay-on-Campus option will return to USU’s beautiful campus each evening. This location will offer some new experiences, while also allowing us to keep the same RFG traditions past participants have come to love and expect.
WE ARE ONCE AGAIN OFFERING TWO OPTIONS!
The first option will require that participants have their own daily transportation to and from each site. More details about check-in and pick-up procedures will be provided in the future while we continue to finalize guidelines related to convenience and safety.
Our second option makes it possible for us to provide overnight accommodations this year. While it will cost a little more, participants who choose this option will stay in the same LLC dorms on USU’s campus many have come to know. They will also get breakfast and daily transportation to and from our conference sites.
STAY-ON-CAMPUS OPTION
For those without a place to stay – or those who just want the option to stay overnight.
This option includes breakfast and daily transportation to and from our conference sites. So happy this is now a choice.

2023 Theme:
Oil For Your Lamp
We are living in difficult times. However, there is so much available and so much that is good in the world. While the world knocks away at what we try to do, we must remember that daily righteous living will contribute drops of oil to our lamp.
Spencer W. Kimball stated, “Attendance at sacrament meetings adds oil to our lamps, drop by drop over the years. Fasting, family prayer…control of bodily appetites, preaching the gospel, studying the scriptures – each act of dedication and obedience is a drop added to our store. Deeds of kindness, payments of offerings and tithes, chaste thoughts and actions…these, too, contribute importantly to the the oil which we can at midnight refuel our empty lamps.” (Faith Precedes the Miracle)
